Office Lactation Consultations
I offer a comfortable and inviting atmosphere at my In-Home Office in Bethpage, NY, where you can feel at ease.
During your visit, I will provide comprehensive care for both mother and baby. This includes conducting an examination, assisting with positioning and latching during feeding, monitoring the baby's weight before and after feeding to gauge milk intake, and troubleshooting any breastfeeding challenges. Additionally, I will perform a functional oral evaluation of the baby and conduct a thorough lactation assessment. Together with the parents, we will develop a personalized care plan tailored to your unique needs.
I specialize in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) and Infant massage techniques (CIMI). During lactation appointments, I incorporate bodywork whenever time allows. Alternatively, you have the option to schedule a dedicated session for Craniosacral Fascial Therapy separately, ensuring a focused and comprehensive approach to address your specific needs.
Furthermore, this visit comes with a valuable two-week "Post Consultation support" period. You can reach out to me via email or secure messaging during this time for guidance and answers to basic questions and concerns related to your care plan, ensuring you receive ongoing support and assistance.
Virtual Lactation Consultation
During our HIPAA Compliant Google Meet session, I will address any questions or concerns you may have identified in your health and lactation history forms. If the opportunity arises, I will also observe a feeding and offer guidance to enhance the latching or bottle-feeding experience. Feel free to ask any and all questions you may have during our session.
Our visit will primarily revolve around addressing your primary concern regarding your lactation journey, and together, we will formulate a comprehensive plan aimed at ensuring both you and your baby achieve feeding success.
